Job Title: Senior Business Development Lead

Leidos is seeking a Senior Business Development Lead to drive business development activities for a diverse set of customers focused on solutions for our Government and Commercial Space customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to identify, accelerate, and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders to drive growth and revenue.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to develop and execute capture strategies, including opportunity qualification, capture planning, and proposal development.
  • Develop and manage the pipeline to ensure alignment with business area, sector, and corporate strategy.
  • Assess competitive landscape and determine optimal teaming partners.
  • Negotiate and influence others to understand and accept new concepts, practices, and approaches.
Requirements:
  • BA/BS or equivalent experience and 15+ years prior relevant experience or a master's degree with 12+ years of experience.
  • Excellent communications skills – demonstrated through written and oral presentations, development of technical papers, volumes, or similar products.
  • Possess business and technical vision, ability to think strategically, and analytical presentation and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with online tools used by the Federal Government for solicitations.
  • Proven record of success capturing and winning opportunities within the Fed-Civ Community with emphasis on opportunity pursuit, pre-proposal, proposal, and post-proposal activities.
