Position Responsibilities- Plan and manage projects and processes, ensuring compliance and meeting core competency expectations for safety, quality, productivity, attendance/punctuality, and teamwork.
- Supervise personnel in a professional setting, ensuring staffing levels are adequate and managing and developing internal resources.
- Establish schedules for maintenance and day-to-day operations, supervising maintenance and repairs of equipment, and inspecting work areas for safety and orderliness.
- Review and maintain team members' work performance, reporting on project specifications and requirements to relevant staff.
- Schedule production and day-to-day tasks for team members, ensuring quality assurance in all aspects of operations, including logistics equipment.
- Maintain consumables, and other orders or needs within responsible areas of production, implementing and maintaining a 5S production area.
- Communicate discrepancies and non-conformances immediately to management, operating overhead cranes, forklifts, and pallet jacks.
- Coexist and function in a diverse team environment.
- High school diploma and 3-5 years prior experience in a supervisory role with direct reports.
- Experience with methods and processes used to ensure that materials, components, or products meet expected standards or compliance requirements.
- Must read, write, and speak fluent English.
- US work authorization is a precondition of employment.
- Successful candidate will need to satisfactorily complete a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- Previous experience overseeing the operations of a department, facility, or plant.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft office applications: Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Machining background a plus.
- Piece part manufacturing/repair a plus.
