Job Summary

The NDT Inspector is a key member of the ProEnergy Services team, responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of our products and services. As an NDT Inspector, you will be accountable for the quality, cost, and schedule of inspection operations for as-received, work-in-progress (WIP), and final inspections. You will also be responsible for complete inspection and shop traveler records and the issuance of Certificates of Conformance to the specified material condition requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform dimensional inspection and visual testing (VT) to ensure the quality and integrity of materials and products.
  • Conduct Fluorescent Penetrant Inspections (FPI) / Liquid Penetrant Inspection (LPI) and Eddy current testing (ET) to detect discontinuities and defects.
  • Set up and calibrate NDT equipment and perform preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
  • Organize, record, report, and file NDT test results and maintain accurate logs of applied hours by NDT discipline.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless inspection operations and quality control.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry standards and regulations and ensure compliance with all relevant codes and specifications.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent, some college preferred.
  • One or more years performing NDT Inspector Level 1 work.
  • Must read, write, and speak fluent English.
  • US work authorization is a precondition of employment.
  • Successful candidate will need to satisfactorily complete pre-employment drug screen and background check.
Desired Qualifications
  • Mechanical aptitude and use of strong working knowledge of common hand tools.
  • Read and interpret drawings and specifications.
  • NDT Certification.
  • Educational background in NDT.
  • Technical understanding of NDT methods and procedures used in the Power and Aero Industries.
