What We Need
We are in search of a Chief Information Technology Officer (CITO) who will report directly to the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer.

This position encompasses the formulation, leadership, and implementation of strategies for IT and Security, which includes Network, Infrastructure, Help Desk, Azure, Integrations, Security Compliance & Engineering, MES, Salesforce, Oracle, and BI.

The CITO will synchronize IT strategies with corporate objectives, spearheading significant initiatives across all product lines and regions. This role will oversee a blended team of approximately 10 associates and vendor partners, both onsite and remote. The ideal candidate will exhibit strengths in vision and strategy, tactical execution, communication and presentation skills, and the ability to garner support for substantial change initiatives.

They will demonstrate sound business and technological judgment while consistently achieving cost reductions, efficiency enhancements, cycle-time improvements, and profitability increases.


KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Business Analysis:

Collaborate with leadership to devise and execute IT strategies that align with business objectives, ensuring timely and cost-efficient delivery.


Enterprise Applications:
Supervise business software and systems platforms, ensuring their integration adheres to best practices and aligns with core business processes.

Business Intelligence:
Develop and refine an Enterprise Data Platform, encompassing customer, inventory, and financial analytics, modeling, and reporting tools.

Network & Infrastructure:

Oversee the complete lifecycle of desktop applications, devices, servers, Cloud platforms, and IT network infrastructure, ensuring service availability and reliability.


Security:
Direct the Security function, ensuring compliance with NIST, CMMC, and other relevant standards. Align security best practices across Product, Engineering, and Service Delivery.

Vendor Management:
Build and maintain robust business relationships with vendors and industry partners.

Continuous Improvement:
Stay abreast of IT trends and best practices, continuously seeking opportunities to enhance technological capabilities.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
15+ years of progressive IT management and operations experience, with expertise in business operations and the ability to drive change at an executive level.

Experience in telecommunications and manufacturing sectors, with proven business management skills, including roadmaps, planning, and budgeting.
Preferred experience in government-regulated security environments necessitating CMMC compliance.
Demonstrated success in recruiting and mentoring diverse teams, with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.

Strong program management capabilities, with experience in building and leading high-performance teams and supporting the rollout of new products and capabilities.

A positive, high-energy executive with the capacity to collaborate with and earn the trust of senior management and internal stakeholders.

Outstanding communication skills, including active listening and the ability to convey complex ideas in clear, easily digestible formats for both technical and non-technical audiences.

EDUCATION
Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience will be considered.
COMPENSATION
Kymeta is committed to equitable compensation practices.

In the spirit of pay transparency, we have established the salary range for this position to be $190,000 - $250,000.

This range represents the full base salary for the role.

Hiring at the upper end of the range would be atypical, allowing for future salary growth.

Compensation packages are determined by various factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to:
skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and geographic location.

The total compensation package for this position includes an annual target bonus of 25%, stock options, and a comprehensive benefits package.
