Drive Revenue Growth for Higher Education and Academic Medical Markets

Genesys Cloud Services, Inc. is expanding its presence in the U.S. Public Sector market and is seeking a highly skilled Senior Account Executive to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth for our Higher Education and Academic Medical markets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth in the Higher Education and Academic Medical markets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in these markets.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Develop and deliver compelling business cases to customers and prospects.
  • Manage and accelerate revenue growth through effective sales and account management.
Requirements:
  • 8+ years of field enterprise sales and/or business development experience with a focus on higher education, academic medical center, and/or healthcare selling and evangelizing AI, enterprise software, networking, infrastructure, customer experience, or cloud computing services.
  • Understanding and experience with higher education, public sector, and healthcare procurement and funding in direct and indirect models.
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency with enterprise platforms including Salesforce (CRM), Clari or similar (forecasting and opportunity management), Zoom (collaboration), and others such as DocuSign, Workday, Concur, and Tableau.
  • Demonstrated proficiency and adoption of MEDDPICC and Opportunity Plan Management.
  • Must be based in region with the ability to travel, as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Technical sales and solutions background in customer experience, CCaaS, UCaaS, API's, infrastructure, AI, telecom, cybersecurity, etc.
  • Demonstrated history of consistently exceeding sales quota.
  • Experience selling to a variety of public sector agencies, including higher education, healthcare organizations, and local government offices.
  • Documented industry and customer network.
Compensation and Benefits:

This role has a market-competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation range of $94,000 to $186,000.00. Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidate's experience, qualifications, skills, and location. This role might also be eligible for a commission or performance-based bonus opportunities.
