Business Unit Overview

Enterprise Technology: This position is part of the Enterprise Technology (ET) division, where we are building the digital backbone essential for advancing our space endeavors, focusing on the digital capabilities vital for fulfilling Blue Origin's vision. ET serves as the digital technology hub at Blue Origin, ensuring alignment between technology and business objectives.

Engineering and Program Management: This role is integrated within the Enterprise Program Management (EPM) sector, which provides essential technical standards, tools, processes, training, and expertise for product engineering and manufacturing. EPM enables all Blue Origin divisions to leverage shared capabilities, equipment, and software, assisting in the recruitment and training of engineers from both internal and external sources.

Safety, Quality, and Mission Assurance: This position is a vital part of the Safety, Quality, and Mission Assurance team, dedicated to evaluating and enhancing processes that guide Blue Origin's design, manufacturing, and operational protocols. This team ensures adherence to safety engineering, environmental health, product integrity, and continuous improvement methodologies.

As a member of our dedicated team of specialists, technicians, and engineers, you will be responsible for:

  • Conducting comprehensive safety assessments and audits.
  • Implementing and monitoring environmental health and safety programs.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance safety protocols.
  • Providing training and guidance on safety regulations and best practices.
  • Participating in continuous improvement initiatives to elevate safety standards.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Relevant educational background in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in environmental health and safety management.
  • Certification in safety management or related disciplines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident, or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in aerospace or related industries.
  • Knowledge of federal and state safety regulations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities.
