Construction Oversight:

Sample Acquisition:
Collect and analyze samples from soil, air, sediment, water, and groundwater to assess environmental conditions.

System Management:
Operate and maintain groundwater and soil vapor remediation systems effectively.

Regulatory Adherence:
Oversee the management of environmental permits, review documentation, and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.

Documentation and Reporting:
Prepare and evaluate engineering documents, logs, and comprehensive reports detailing findings and recommendations.

Problem Resolution:
Tackle routine and complex field challenges, maintaining communication with project stakeholders.

Team Leadership:
Direct and coordinate activities with junior engineers and interns, fostering a collaborative work environment.

Specialized Projects:
Conduct assessments for regulated materials, such as asbestos, as part of environmental compliance efforts.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering or Geology.
  • Experience: Minimum of 4 years in environmental site assessments, engineering feasibility studies, and remediation projects.
  • Licensure: Professional engineering licensure or the ability to obtain it within a year.
  • Certifications: State Asbestos Inspector certification is preferred.
  • Skills: Proficient in Phase I, II, and III ESAs, groundwater treatment, regulatory compliance, and possess strong communication, analytical, and multitasking abilities.

Additional Requirements:
Candidates must have reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and the flexibility to work overtime as needed. This position is well-suited for individuals with substantial experience in environmental engineering or geology, who excel in team-oriented environments and are dedicated to environmental stewardship and remediation efforts.
