NOVA Engineering and Environmental, LLC is in search of a dedicated and proficient Environmental Staff Engineer to enhance our engineering team. The selected candidate will possess a solid foundation in environmental engineering, with a focus on the Petroleum Restoration Program (PRP).
Core Responsibilities:
- Development of Remedial Action Plans: Formulate and create detailed Remedial Action Plans (RAPs) that comply with both state and federal environmental regulations.
- Conducting Pilot Tests: Execute pilot tests to assess the practicality and success of various remediation technologies.
- Field Data Acquisition: Carry out field data acquisition, which includes soil and groundwater sampling, site evaluations, and ongoing monitoring.
- Effective Communication: Exhibit excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal, to collaborate efficiently with colleagues, clients, and regulatory bodies.
- CADD Proficiency (Preferred): Employ Computer-Aided Design and Drafting (CADD) software to support the design and execution of engineering initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 1 year of relevant environmental experience, particularly with the Petroleum Restoration Program (PRP).
- Experience in the preparation of Remedial Action Plans.
- Capability to perform pilot testing and field data acquisition.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Familiarity with CADD software is advantageous.
