Key Responsibilities- Stay current on regulations and compliance issues related to health insurance and provider data management.
- Lead the advocacy of the PDM data entry process as it applies to cross-functional data support.
- Meet regularly with other Provider Services departments to ensure proper workflow development and policies/procedures are maintained.
Samaritan Health Services is a leading provider of health insurance options to Samaritan employees, community employers, and Medicare and Medicaid members. Our organization operates a portfolio of health plan products under several different legal structures, including InterCommunity Health Plans, Inc. (IHN) and Samaritan Health Plans, Inc.
Requirements- Associate's degree or equivalent experience required.
- Two (2) years experience in Provider Services required.
- Two (2) years experience in Health Plan Insurance Plans required.
- Previous Facets experience required.
- Previous claims experience preferred.
The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment and have excellent communication and problem-solving skills. The physical demands of this role include:
- Rarely: Climbing stairs, lifting up to 20 pounds, bending forward at the waist, kneeling, standing, walking, rotating trunk while standing, reaching upward, pushing and pulling up to 20 pounds, sitting, carrying 1-handed up to 20 pounds, rotating trunk while sitting, reaching forward, manual dexterity, finger dexterity, pinching fingers, and grasping hand/fist.
