Job Title: Early Head Start Lead Teacher - Program Manager

Job Summary:

The Early Head Start Lead Teacher - Program Manager is a key member of the Ohio Heartland Community Action Commission team, responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Early Head Start program. This individual will provide leadership and guidance to staff, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to children and families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Program Management: Oversee the implementation of the Early Head Start program, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.
  • Staff Supervision: Provide guidance and support to Early Head Start staff, including teachers, assistants, and family advocates.
  • Family Engagement: Foster strong relationships with families, providing them with resources and support to achieve their goals.
  • Community Partnerships: Develop and maintain partnerships with community organizations, ensuring access to resources and services for families.
  • Program Evaluation: Conduct regular evaluations of the program, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  • Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with staff, families, and community partners.

Requirements:

  • Education: Associate of Arts or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
  • Experience: Two years of experience working with children in an organized setting or a combination of college and years of experience.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
