Office Administrator

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Office Manager to join our team at Holy Name Hospital. As a key member of our administrative staff, you will be responsible for the overall management of our office site, including facility and equipment maintenance, day-to-day supervision of designated personnel, and payroll preparation.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with interviews, hires, evaluations, and disciplines direct reporting staff.
- Handle all patient and visitor concerns and ensure timely resolution.
- Supervise the daily cash collection and time of visit payments.
- Develop daily operating policies, protocols, and procedures for the site; train staff and implement policies.
- Monitor compliance, coach, and counsel staff as necessary.
- Provide day-to-day supervision for all staff working at the facility.
- Allocate work among staff and ensure that work is completed within appropriate time frames.
- Prioritize tasks and keep staff informed of priorities.
- Order supplies for the facility.
- Timely submission of all pre-certification requests.
- Monitor performance against budget and take corrective action as indicated.
- Prepare payroll for facility staff and prepare weekly work schedule for all facility staff.
- Act as liaison for the facility and staff with all other parties.
- Ensure that the facility is well maintained and that all equipment is maintained and serviced appropriately in accordance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience required.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or a healthcare-related field preferred.
- Experience in word processing and spreadsheet software (Microsoft Word, Lotus, and Excel) preferred.
- 1-3 years of supervisory experience in a medical office setting preferred.
- Previous Office Manager experience preferred.
