As the Business Office Administrator, you are responsible for the overall support of the office as well as support of the HR department and other areas of the office as directed. This individual will handle tasks such as scheduling meetings and provide overall support to the office.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Schedules office wide meetings, interviews and company events
- Plans and maintains an office employee engagement calendar and supports events
- Ensure and maintain electronic employee files
- Complete employment verifications as needed
- Provides ongoing assistance with the onboarding process to include gathering signatures for onboarding documents and ensuring all the pre hire steps are completed
- Create HR marketing materials and submit to Marketing department
- Maintains and orders company supplies
- General oversight of office upkeep
- Provides support of senior leadership as needed.
- Supports the accounting function as needed.
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
- Ability to maintain high levels of confidentiality
- 1-2 years working in a Human Resources Capacity
- Prior experience working in an administrative capacity with some financial support
- Strong planning and organizational skills
- High level of accountability, consistency and follow through
- Professional demeanor
- Any combination of experience or post-secondary education in a human resources or accounting capacity
- The ability to perform the necessary job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
