Role Summary:
We are seeking a seasoned Clinical Account Executive to play a pivotal role in our growth journey. This position requires a unique blend of clinical expertise and strategic insight to identify opportunities for enhancement within our pharmacy care services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and implement innovative clinical strategies aimed at improving member health outcomes through detailed analysis of prescription claims data.
  • Oversee clinical initiatives executed by external partners to ensure alignment with our standards.
  • Engage with clients to discuss emerging clinical trends, analyze pharmacy data, and provide informed recommendations for clinical management.
  • Contribute to the expansion of pharmacy offerings and assist in the creation of a comprehensive clinical management framework for sales and client engagement.
  • Interpret current pharmacy and healthcare trends to inform our clinical strategies.
  • Serve as the clinical consultant for the account team, providing drug information and expert guidance.
  • Proactively advise clients on upcoming developments in the pharmaceutical landscape, including new generics and clinical guidelines.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to foster consensus and support sales initiatives.
  • Assist in the preparation of Requests for Information (RFI) and Requests for Proposals (RFP).
  • Undertake additional projects and responsibilities as required.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of five years of experience in pharmacy, preferably within a leading Health Plan or Pharmacy Benefit Manager (PBM).
  • Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree is mandatory.
  • At least three years of experience in analyzing prescription claims data using Excel.
  • In-depth knowledge of specialty medications and the processes involved in formulary development and management.
  • Strong understanding of client management and the concept of concierge service.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information to senior stakeholders.
  • Adept at thriving in a dynamic, fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
  • Proven clinical acumen, business insight, and relationship-building capabilities.
  • Familiarity with the pharmacy benefits sales process is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally as needed.
