Role Summary:
We are currently seeking a seasoned Clinical Account Executive to join our rapidly expanding team. This pivotal position requires a professional who can identify opportunities for improvement and adeptly communicate clinical information to both clinical and non-clinical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate innovative clinical strategies aimed at enhancing member health through the analysis of prescription claims data.
  • Oversee clinical initiatives developed by external partners.
  • Engage with clients to discuss clinical insights, analyze pharmacy data, and offer recommendations for clinical management.
  • Contribute to the growth of pharmacy products and assist in creating a comprehensive clinical management playbook for sales and client management training.
  • Interpret current pharmacy and healthcare trends to inform clinical strategies.
  • Serve as a clinical consultant within the account team, providing drug information and expertise.
  • Proactively advise clients on emerging drug pipeline activities, including new generics and clinical guidelines.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve consensus and support sales initiatives.
  • Assist in the preparation of RFI and RFP submissions.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities and projects as required.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of five years of pharmacy experience within a prominent Health Plan or PBM, demonstrating a successful track record in clinical pharmacy benefit management.
  • PharmD degree is mandatory.
  • At least three years of experience in analyzing prescription claims data using Excel.
  • In-depth knowledge of specialty medications, formulary development, and evaluation processes.
  • Strong understanding of concierge service principles in client management.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, particularly in developing materials and presenting to senior stakeholders.
  • A desire to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced startup environment with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Outstanding clinical judgment, business acumen, and relationship-building capabilities.
  • Familiarity with the pharmacy benefits sales process.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally.
  • Comprehensive understanding of PBM or Health Plan pharmacy programs.
  • Knowledge of PBM and pharmacy services contracts is preferred.
  • Background in retail pharmacy is advantageous.
