Mechanical Systems Engineer

Your primary responsibilities include:
Utilizing proprietary software to determine the most efficient pumps and produce pump performance curves.
Conduct calculations for pump losses and pressure limits, develop initial general arrangement drawings for selected pumps, and provide comprehensive mechanical assessments along with cost estimation data.
Serve as a bridge between the tendering process and the engineering related to orders.Evaluate and provide insights on customer requests for quotations (RFQs), drawings, and specifications as necessary. Assist the sales team with inquiries related to pumps.
Upon receiving an order, collaborate with Project Management and Engineering during the order review process to ensure clarity on quotations and customer specifications.
Maintain consistent and dependable attendance.
Engage with and contribute to the company-wide Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Management System, adhering to all safety, health, and environmental policies and procedures.
Comply with company and departmental policies, procedures, and standards.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
To excel in this position, you will need:
A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (BSME) or equivalent is essential.
2-5 years of relevant experience in rotating machinery, preferably with vertically suspended pumps.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal in English) are required to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Proficiency in mathematical and computer skills is necessary (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SAP, FileMaker, and Teamcenter).
Highly organized with the capability to manage multiple projects with rapid turnaround times.
Demonstrated ability to independently resolve issues and take timely action.
