Sales Engineer for Analytical Instruments

Position Overview:
As a Sales Engineer and vital contributor to the Central Region sales team, you will be responsible for driving business expansion in our client's product offerings related to microwave-assisted synthesis, digestion, FTIR, and Raman spectroscopy across multiple states. Your ideal location is within the Greater Chicago or Milwaukee area, although other major cities in the designated territory are also acceptable.

Compensation and Benefits:
The salary range for this role is between $86,000 and $97,300 annually. The commission structure is uncapped, providing monthly payouts from the first dollar earned, along with bonuses for surpassing sales targets. Comprehensive benefits are included, along with a profit-sharing contribution to your 401k, a $10,000 anniversary bonus every five years, and a monthly car allowance with mileage reimbursement. A sign-on bonus may also be available.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and nurture new client relationships while effectively managing existing accounts.
• Deliver presentations to diverse audiences, including C-suite executives, scientists, and technical staff.
• Identify sales opportunities, craft proposals, and successfully close deals.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in capital equipment sales, preferably in analytical instruments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with strong presentation abilities.
• A proven ability to work autonomously while demonstrating a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.
• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in a natural science or engineering field, with a preference for Chemistry.
• Familiarity with Analytical or Synthetic Chemistry and sample preparation for trace metal analysis is highly desirable.
• Willingness to travel frequently, with overnight stays expected up to 75% of the time.
• A valid driver's license with a clean driving record and a passport.
