Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Rental Coordinator to join our team at Custom Truck One Source. As a key member of our sales and rental operations team, you will be responsible for coordinating the administrative functions of our rental business, ensuring that our clients receive timely and efficient service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the administrative functions of the rental business, including contract administration, workflow management, and customer service.
  • Effectively administer and control the workflow of contracts and ancillary documents for the rental and sales departments.
  • Process documents and generate invoices to ensure timely and accurate processing of rental agreements.
  • Coordinate with accounting to ensure accurate processing of rental agreements and maintain accurate records.
  • Communicate with clients and team members to ensure effective management of rental and sales processes.
  • Attend inventory status meetings and maintain accurate understanding of available inventory, anticipated timelines, and potential issues.
  • Coordinate with logistics to dispatch equipment to clients and process equipment check-in and check-out.
  • Analyze internal processes and recommend procedural or policy changes to improve operations.

Requirements:

  • Associate degree or relevant college degree or 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Experience with heavy equipment sales, services, or dealerships.
  • Experience with Windows-based software, including Outlook and Excel.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with multi-state equipment rentals.
  • Experience with Rentalman software.
