Senior Financial Planning Specialist

- Compile, assess, and deliver detailed wealth management analysis reports that cover retirement strategies, tax forecasts, educational funding, insurance, and estate planning evaluations for Financial Consultants and their clientele, both via phone and in-person with professionalism and respect.
- Engage in discussions regarding client aspirations and objectives with Financial Consultants to ascertain which proposal, forecast, or analysis should be crafted, reviewed, and presented. Provide suggestions to Financial Consultants when objectives are not clearly defined.
- Perform necessary research for Financial Consultants, including but not limited to intricate financial, tax, and/or estate planning inquiries and personal finance subjects.
- Inform Financial Consultants about the advantages of the Wealth Management division through individual or group sessions, including branch visits and conference calls.
- Monitor all ongoing cases as well as assets and business generated from successful cases.
- Maintain an up-to-date understanding of industry changes and regulations pertinent to the Private Client Group, Stephens Inc. employees, and/or clients.
- Assist the department with special projects or other assignments as directed by management.
- Actively pursue personal development to enhance knowledge, skills, and credentials.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience or training.
- An equivalent combination of education, training, or experience.
- Comprehensive knowledge in areas such as accounting, marketing, business administration, finance, etc.
- CPA, CFP, or similar designation is mandatory.
- SIE - Securities Industry Essentials
- Series 7 - General Securities Representative
- Series 63 - State Law Exam or Series 66 - Combined State Law
- Insurance License (Life & Health, Long Term Care)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Familiarity with PowerPoint
