Position Overview

EPC Services Company, a prominent engineering consultancy specializing in power and utility projects, is seeking qualified candidates for the role of Senior Project Manager. This position is available in our Raleigh, NC office, with potential for remote work based on relevant industry experience.

Role Responsibilities

The Senior Project Manager is a pivotal position within our organization, requiring advanced expertise in the strategic oversight and management of construction projects related to electrical power, communication systems, and industrial facilities. This role is essential for providing guidance and strategic insights to senior management on critical business decisions.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) projects, ensuring effective program management for significant clients.
  • Overseeing project management activities, including financial management, bidding processes, safety protocols, and field support.
  • Administering general project operations and mentoring junior project managers and assistants.
Travel Requirements

Occasional travel may be necessary to monitor and control construction activities effectively.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or Construction Management.
  • A minimum of 10 years of project management experience with complex electrical transmission line or substation projects.
  • Strong organizational capabilities and excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with Vista (Viewpoint) software is advantageous.

The ideal candidate must successfully pass all company and client-mandated drug and background checks. Additionally, the candidate must be able to meet the auto insurance requirements of EPC Services Company.
