Position Overview

World Wide Technology, Inc. is seeking a Cybersecurity Sales Consultant to join our Security Sales team, focusing on Fortune 100 clients in Southern California. In this role, you will collaborate effectively with core and cross-functional teams within WWT to develop and implement a comprehensive strategy that transforms ideas into tangible business outcomes. This position emphasizes achieving objectives by promoting WWT's extensive range of Security products and services through various OEM partnerships. Candidates with experience in selling Enterprise Strategic projects are highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive profitable revenue growth in security products and services with a large customer base.
  • Familiarity with leading cybersecurity OEMs such as Cisco, Fortinet, Tanium, Zscaler, Crowdstrike, and Palo Alto Networks is preferred.
  • Enhance WWT's presence by aligning with customers' key business objectives.
  • Engage in professional networking to cultivate relationships with C-level executives and decision-makers at targeted organizations.
  • Maintain client and OEM relationships, delivering value from concept to execution.
  • Develop and lead sales strategies, creating both short and long-term plans based on thorough research and an understanding of business and technology trends.
  • Identify the most effective coverage model across all teams and organizations within WWT.
Qualifications:
  • Possess expert-level knowledge in one or more cybersecurity domains, including security architecture, cloud security, risk management, compliance, security governance, networks, protocols, threat management, change management, vulnerability management, and overall cybersecurity best practices.
  • Create enablement materials for marketing initiatives, including articles, high-quality presentations, videos, and other media formats.
  • Required certifications include CISSP, CISM, CRISC (or comparable skills and experience).
  • Demonstrated experience as a project or task lead, collaborating with professionals across various organizations.
  • Broad subject-matter expertise, capable of engaging in discussions across the spectrum of cybersecurity, whether technical or strategic.
  • Proven success in executing multiple initiatives, with exceptional time management skills and the ability to navigate uncertainty.
  • Knowledge of industry and government strategies and standards related to privacy and cybersecurity.
  • Strong ability to manage concurrent tasks in complex environments with shifting priorities.
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to adapt language and style to different audiences.
