Position Overview:

Compensation Package:
$76,600 - $107,200 plus bonuses

The Branch Sales Manager plays a pivotal role in identifying potential clients, fostering and sustaining beneficial business relationships, and enhancing the sales and profitability of the branch.

A successful candidate will cultivate and mentor a unified team within the branch, dedicated to upholding IDI's culture and Core Values.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive profitable growth in IDI sales, focusing on both top-line and bottom-line expansion.
  • Maintain existing customer relationships while actively pursuing new business opportunities, ensuring profitability and exceptional customer service.
  • Oversee branch operations, including safety protocols, inventory management, employee turnover, and retention.
  • Mentor and develop all branch personnel, including Sales, Distribution Center Manager, Drivers, and operational staff, with an emphasis on long-term retention and a customer-centric culture.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety procedures and corporate directives, implementing training programs for safety, customer service, and product knowledge.
  • Conduct annual sales forecasting and budgeting, along with monthly P&L reviews in collaboration with the Regional Director.
  • Guarantee comprehensive training for all staff and provide direct oversight of the Distribution Center Manager.
  • Manage inventory effectively, including regular counts and minimizing dead stock.
  • Act as a liaison between the branch and corporate office, executing all corporate directives efficiently.
  • Maintain an active presence at the branch, contributing to its overall health and performance.
  • Perform additional duties as necessary to support IDI's objectives.

  • Ability to cultivate long-lasting relationships with vendors, clients, and sales personnel.
  • Capacity to generate new business opportunities.
  • Willingness to travel less than 10% of the time.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and achieve sales targets.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on individual and team objectives.

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years in sales, preferably in insulation or building materials.
