This pivotal role will oversee the comprehensive planning, logistics, and execution of catering services for various events, working closely with both internal teams and a diverse range of external partners.

The successful candidate will ensure that catering operations meet the highest industry standards, aligning with established goals and evaluating all services through the collection of actionable data to inform future strategies.


Key Responsibilities:

- Spearhead the planning, scoping, and management of catering operations for events, collaborating with various stakeholders to deliver exceptional service.

- Work alongside functional leaders to design and implement operational layouts for catering facilities.

- Manage the selection and appointment of caterers, including overseeing tender processes and contractual agreements.

- Coordinate staffing needs before, during, and after events, ensuring compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.

- Oversee menu design and catering provisions to cater to a diverse audience, including guests, participants, and VIPs.

- Direct the appointment of external contractors for catering infrastructure, negotiating terms as necessary.

- Collaborate with onsite teams to supervise the catering setup and dismantling phases, ensuring adherence to schedules and budgets while complying with health and safety regulations.

- Serve as a point of contact for contractors regarding operational issues and escalate matters as needed.

- Foster strong relationships with stakeholders across the organization to ensure seamless event execution.

- Lead planning meetings with suppliers and internal teams, documenting outcomes and follow-up actions.

- Provide expertise in resolving operational queries and support management in evaluating catering delivery for continuous improvement.

- Contribute insights for the development of long-term strategies and operational plans.


Qualifications:

- Extensive experience in a high-profile event catering environment, preferably with experience in managing new site operations.

- Strong project management skills, with relevant certifications preferred.

- Proven ability to liaise with high-profile clients and manage service delivery effectively.

This position offers a hybrid working model, requiring attendance at the office a few days a week, along with occasional travel as needed.
