Bakery Manager Job Description

At Sprouts Farmers Market, we're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bakery Manager to lead our Bakery Department. As a key member of our store team, you'll be responsible for ensuring the highest quality products, exceptional customer service, and a positive store environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the daily operations of the Bakery Department, including production, inventory, and customer service.
  • Supervise and train a team of bakery staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to provide excellent customer service and maintain high-quality products.
  • Monitor and control inventory levels, manage budgets, and optimize sales and profitability.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction, increase sales, and enhance the overall shopping experience.
  • Collaborate with other store departments to ensure seamless operations and achieve business objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a retail grocery environment, preferably in a bakery or food service role.
  • Proven leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, staff, and other stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to make informed decisions and drive results.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
