Job Title: Category Manager - PPE and PPC Procurement

As a key member of the Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action, we are seeking a highly skilled Category Manager to lead the procurement of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and Personal Protective Clothing (PPC) within the Logistics Unit.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategic category plans to optimize supply chain efficiency and compliance.
  • Provide expert advice on government procurement practices, market dynamics, and industry regulations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including suppliers, internal teams, and external partners.
  • Lead the negotiation of contracts and manage end-to-end supplier relationships.
  • Ensure the reliable and compliant sourcing of PPE products.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field; an advanced degree is highly regarded.
  • Demonstrated experience in government procurement, particularly in managing categories related to PPE and PPC.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Familiarity with industry regulations and standards related to PPE and PPC.
