Responsibilities

Reporting to the Director of Casino Marketing, this role is pivotal in managing the analysis of guest engagement and marketing initiatives. The position is responsible for ensuring that loyalty programs effectively drive customer behavior and contribute to revenue growth. Additionally, the role involves analyzing guest segment trends and communicating insights to the Marketing leadership team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to all Gaming Commission Regulations and internal policies.
  • Establish a robust marketing analysis framework to optimize the overall offer strategy through a systematic test and learn approach.
  • Analyze post-campaign results and propose strategic adjustments to enhance marketing effectiveness, collaborating with marketing leaders to develop impactful campaigns.
  • Conduct independent analyses and prepare Pro Formas and Post Formas.
  • Generate monthly financial and operational reviews, distilling complex data into actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Act as a liaison for marketing teams regarding the analysis of direct marketing initiatives.
  • Provide strategic insights, create and analyze standard reports, and conduct thorough analyses to understand property marketing performance and customer behaviors.
  • Identify testing opportunities in direct marketing and assess the outcomes of these tests.
  • Effectively communicate findings and recommendations to support informed marketing strategies.
  • Maintain and update existing reports regularly.
  • Collaborate with marketing leaders to provide analytical input for decision-making and evaluation of marketing effectiveness.
  • Build relationships to ensure an analytical approach in developing proformas, revenue plans, and marketing calendars.
  • Clearly present findings to key stakeholders, ensuring they are informed of relevant changes.
  • Manage multiple projects and deadlines, proactively seeking opportunities for improvement in analysis.
  • Coordinate with the Promotions Team to provide analytical support for giveaways and tournament scoring.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience is required; an MBA or advanced analytical degree is preferred. Proficiency in analytical tools and software such as MS SQL Server Management Studio, Visual Studio, Tableau, Excel, and PowerPoint is essential, with expert-level skills in Excel and tSQL.

Additional Requirements:

  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated quantitative and analytical expertise in roles such as financial analysis, direct marketing, consulting, and statistical analytics.
  • Experience working with large data sets and developing streamlined analysis tools.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to communicate analyses and recommendations effectively.
  • Ability to maintain professional relationships with vendors, guests, and colleagues.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Work Environment:

  • This role requires frequent standing, walking, and the use of hands for various tasks. The employee may need to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • The work environment is dynamic and fast-paced, often involving interaction with the public.
  • Effective communication in English is necessary for this position.
