Objective of the Position:
To manage and enhance all supply chain operations within the organization, ensuring that the company is equipped to deliver competitive logistics solutions to clients globally.

Key Responsibilities:
Assist the organization with all transportation activities both domestically and internationally. Oversee logistics functions for various international branches, ensuring compliance with local regulations. Coordinate global storage facilities and manage associated costs. Collaborate with transport providers for specialized cargo movements and necessary notifications. Arrange for the use of mobile cranes for various logistical tasks. Partner with external safety advisors to ensure compliance audits are conducted and any concerns are resolved. Maintain up-to-date customs registration and documentation. Prepare monthly reconciliation reports and ensure all customs entries are properly archived. Collaborate with the finance department to monitor and report on import accounts. Work alongside the sales department to confirm appropriate shipping terms are established during contract negotiations.

Engage with clients and their international representatives before shipments to guarantee that export paperwork is validated and delivery timelines are achievable.

Ensure timely dispatch of pre-alert notifications and provide assistance upon arrival in the destination country as needed.

Coordinate with clients and agents to validate return documentation for seamless re-entry of all rental equipment into the UK and assist with international re-export processes.

Provide close support to the administration and yard management teams to ensure effective communication and organization of mobilizations. Aid sales and project teams in ensuring that all estimates are precise and reliable. Assist in planning and coordinating local transport for pickups and deliveries. Generate shipping documents including packing lists, certificates of origin, and commercial invoices. Prepare necessary documentation for both mobilization and demobilization processes. Ensure adherence to regulations within the logistics framework. Verify that all required certifications are obtained as necessary. Ensure all relevant documentation is completed promptly. Provide support for out-of-office tasks as needed. Review, amend, and confirm documentation accuracy. Ensure both electronic and physical documentation is organized and stored systematically.

Required Qualifications and Skills:
ESSENTIAL: Several years of experience in the logistics sector. Previous involvement with air, sea, and road transportation. Proficient understanding of Incoterms 2020. Strong negotiation capabilities. Familiarity with customs procedures in the UK. Experience in handling and creating transit documentation. DESIRABLE: Certifications in handling Dangerous Goods for air and sea transport. Experience in oil and gas or related manufacturing sectors.
