This role is integral to our operations, providing essential support as a Relief Operator for our Dispatch team, which operates on a 12-hour rotating schedule. The successful candidate will manage water levels and power output across our hydroelectric sites while also overseeing the electric distribution network.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with Dispatch personnel to ensure safe and efficient operation of hydro generation equipment.
  • Monitor and manage the operation of substations and transmission lines.
  • Conduct regular inspections of hydro facilities and stay updated on equipment enhancements.
  • Perform routine operational duties, including site maintenance and safety checks.
  • Execute monthly inspections in compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Oversee fire and security systems across all facilities.
  • Engage in necessary training programs to maintain safety and operational standards.
  • Be available for emergency call-ins and overtime as required.
  • Assist maintenance teams based on skills and training.
Essential Qualifications:
  • Ability to comprehend and execute verbal and written directives.
