Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Executive Director RN for our Hospice division at LHC Group. Our organization is committed to fostering a culture of compassion, inclusivity, and trust, which allows us to build meaningful relationships with our patients, their families, and the communities we serve.

Key Responsibilities

The Executive Director RN will oversee all facets of patient care and manage the professional staff and allied health personnel. This role includes ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, financial performance, and quality assurance initiatives.

The Executive Director will be present on-site during business hours and will be accessible via phone when off-site, ensuring that leadership is available as needed.

Key duties include:

  • Directing daily operations of the agency and leading the Care Management Process.
  • Receiving daily reports on patient care from staff members.
  • Reviewing patient care documentation, referral information, and discharge processes regularly.
  • Monitoring monthly financial reports to ensure quality patient care is delivered efficiently.
  • Participating in Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) planning and execution.
Qualifications

Applicants must possess a valid license as a physician, registered nurse, or social worker, or hold a Bachelor's degree with a minimum of three years of relevant experience in healthcare, particularly in hospice or home health settings. A minimum of one year of full-time experience in a similar role is required.

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Three years of leadership experience in healthcare.
  • Current CPR certification for those who may provide patient services.
  • A valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation.
