Position Title: Engineering Tech Specialist

Position Overview:

EMCOR Government Services is currently seeking an Engineering Tech Specialist.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the facility with various projects.
  • Execute a range of engineering services on designated power plant equipment and materials.
  • Provide immediate assistance to the plant during emergency situations.

Required Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 20 years of experience in a similar industrial setting.
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety protocols at all times.
  • Consistent and reliable attendance record.

Physical and Job Site Requirements:

  • Ability to complete hiring documentation electronically.
  • Capable of lifting and transporting items weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Possess sufficient strength and endurance to perform the essential technical duties.
  • Ability to navigate confined spaces and uneven terrain.
  • Full range of motion appropriate for age.
  • Ability to climb and maintain balance on ladders.
  • Must be able to hear and respond to verbal commands and alarms.
  • Visual acuity and depth perception necessary for working at heights and on uneven surfaces.
  • Safety footwear is mandatory.
