Client Relationship Manager

Connection - Public Sector Sales is seeking a driven and enthusiastic Client Relationship Manager to spearhead the acquisition of new business by identifying, nurturing, and delivering IT solutions to state and local government entities as well as educational institutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage in proactive outreach to establish new client accounts while managing an existing portfolio.
- Enhance and expand relationships with current clients.
- Strategically organize and prioritize daily tasks.
- Exhibit a strong commitment to follow-through, personal motivation, and a passion for making a positive impact.
- Effectively communicate key selling points, features, and advantages while aligning with client needs and expectations.
- Maintain a consistent record of sales growth, even during challenging periods.
- Employ a consultative approach to sales.
- Uphold company values and expect the highest standards of professionalism from oneself and colleagues.
- Actively listen and respond adeptly to client inquiries.
- Facilitate negotiations and discussions with competence.
- Demonstrate the ability to close sales and address client objections effectively.
Qualifications:
- Associate's Degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of 2 years in a relevant role.
- Customer-focused with a keen ability to listen and anticipate client needs.
- Proficient in building rapport and maintaining strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Capable of articulating ideas clearly and concisely.
- Exceptional negotiation abilities.
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy.
- Adept at multitasking in a dynamic environment.
- Proactive in identifying business opportunities within the existing client base.
