Tier II Help Desk Analyst Job Description

Vaco is seeking a skilled Tier II Help Desk Analyst to join our team in Greensboro, NC. As a key member of our IT Department, you will provide technical support to our staff of over 200 employees, ensuring seamless operations and exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide Tier 1-2 technical support for a wide range of issues, from basic to complex, related to manufacturing software, hardware, network connectivity, and specialized equipment.
  • Escalate tickets as necessary in a timely manner, providing detailed documentation.
  • Offer onsite and remote technical support to our staff, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum productivity.
  • Monitor and maintain our manufacturing systems and network, ensuring optimal performance and security.
  • Deliver end-user support with a high level of customer service, addressing technical issues and providing training as needed.
  • Collaborate with our small IT team to resolve technical issues and implement process improvements.
Requirements:
  • Hands-on experience on a Help Desk team, supporting Tier 1-2 technical issues.
  • Strong technical skills, with knowledge of manufacturing software, hardware, network connectivity, and specialized equipment.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Experience within a small/mid-size organization is ideal.
