Technical Support Specialist

GEL Solutions, a leading provider of geophysical services, is seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our technical support team, you will be responsible for providing expert-level support to our clients and internal teams, ensuring seamless adoption and utilization of our geophysical services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide training and support for Bentley software, including Microstation and OpenRoads Designer
  • Develop and maintain SOPs for CAD and other processes
  • Administer user training and maintain Bentley contracts
  • Assist in development and maintenance of reporting programs and spreadsheets
  • Maintain computer hardware and software inventory
  • Monitor technical publications and online resources to stay up-to-date on market trends
  • Attend trade organization meetings and conferences as required
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Associate's degree in a relevant field (preferred) and/or demonstrated senior-level professional experience in a similar role
  • Working knowledge of Bentley CADD products, particularly Microstation, Connect, Geopak, and OpenRoads Designer
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Adobe
  • Previous experience with surveying, engineering, and geophysical firms preferred
  • Excellent writing, editing, and document production skills, with a high level of attention to detail and independent resourcefulness
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to travel and train, lead, and work as part of a team
