Job Description and Duties

As a Program and Project Supervisor with the Public Utilities Commission, you will play a critical role in ensuring the compliance of telecommunication infrastructure with the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA). Under the general direction of the Branch/Program Manager, you will supervise, plan, and coordinate the activities of the Broadband related CEQA section. This includes directly supervising the work of section staff, coordinating with other Energy Division sections and Commission divisions, and actively participating as a member of the Division's management team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of section staff to ensure compliance with CEQA and other relevant regulations.
  • Coordinate with other Energy Division sections and Commission divisions to ensure effective collaboration and communication.
  • Participate as a member of the Division's management team to provide input and guidance on policy and program development.
  • Receive assignments and direction from the Division Deputy Director and the Division Director.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Knowledge of CEQA and other relevant regulations.
  • Experience in telecommunications infrastructure and environmental policy.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate with stakeholders.
