Key Responsibilities- Plan and assign work for cement finishers and related craftsmen to ensure efficient project completion.
- Prepare labor and materials cost estimates for various jobs to ensure budget compliance.
- Inspect work in progress and completed work to ensure compliance with instructions and standard procedures.
- Keep accurate records of employee time and materials expended on each project.
- Oversee the care and maintenance of cement finishing and related equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Assist in the development and advancement of staff to ensure a skilled and motivated team.
- Attend and conduct safety meetings to promote a safe working environment.
- Respond to inquiries and complaints from the public and other stakeholders in a professional and courteous manner.
- Coordinate work with other craft supervisors to ensure seamless project execution.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Completion of a recognized three-year cement mason apprenticeship program.
- Three (3) years of experience as a journey-level cement mason.
- Possession and maintenance of a valid class C driver's license.
- Ability to use Microsoft Suites.
- Knowledge of ADA curb ramp slopes.
