Position Summary

The Application Analyst embodies the core mission, vision, and values of Northwestern Medicine, adhering to our ethical standards and compliance protocols while ensuring alignment with all relevant policies and regulations.

Our Information Services team is at the forefront of delivering innovative solutions that redefine healthcare delivery.

We are dedicated to supporting the continuous improvement of healthcare by providing outstanding service to our patients, guests, and internal stakeholders. Our team works diligently to ensure that our systems operate in harmony.

Recognizing the critical role of technology in shaping healthcare's future, Information Services strategically enhances the organization by:

  • Utilizing artificial intelligence, automation, and advanced cybersecurity measures to support digital transformation initiatives
  • Implementing cutting-edge technologies across clinical and administrative domains
  • Advancing the development of user support models to improve modern infrastructure
Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and support designated services and systems
  • Collaborate with the team to monitor, evaluate, and plan system upgrades
  • Oversee the production issue queue, resolving problems while upholding our Customer Service Level Agreements
  • Execute assigned project tasks efficiently
  • Enhance quality assurance standards and methodologies for systems development and delivery
  • Integrate user requests with software capabilities to optimize functionality
  • Analyze and recommend improvements related to application design and system reliability for current and future use
  • Demonstrate diagnostic expertise to assist in problem resolution across the distributed system environment
  • Participate in on-call rotations as required
  • Contribute to the upkeep of application and technical documentation, including architecture diagrams
Qualifications

Required:

  • 2-5 years of relevant experience in the field

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline
