Position SummaryThe Healthcare Application Support Specialist embodies the mission, vision, and values of Northwestern Memorial Healthcare, adhering to our Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program while complying with all relevant policies and regulatory standards.
This role is responsible for maintaining assigned applications, ensuring their operational integrity and seamless integration within the NMHC information technology framework. Key responsibilities include monitoring daily issues, executing user change requests, and conducting system testing during upgrades and projects. Collaboration with Application Analyst Associates and Application Analysts is essential for troubleshooting application-related challenges.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and some technical experience in information systems are required. Familiarity with application functionalities is preferred but not mandatory. Additionally, this role provides analytical support to end users, aiming to enhance application usage, improve workflows, optimize business processes, and identify suitable system solutions.

Required:
- 0-3 years of experience in the core discipline.
Preferred:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
- 1-3 years of experience in the core discipline within the healthcare industry.
