- Collaboration: Engaging with radiology personnel and other relevant parties to comprehend their operational needs.
- Configuration: Tailoring the Epic Radiant module to align with the specific requirements of the radiology department.
- Integration: Executing system integration tasks to ensure effective communication between the Radiant module and other components of the Epic EHR system.
- Training: Providing guidance and support to end-users, including radiologists and technologists, on the effective utilization of the Epic Radiant system.
- Troubleshooting: Working alongside the IT department to identify and resolve technical challenges related to the Epic Radiant module.
- Continuous Improvement: Staying informed about new features and enhancements in the Epic Radiant module and offering suggestions for system improvements.
- System Maintenance: Assisting with upgrades, testing, and documentation associated with the Epic Radiant module.
- Compliance: Ensuring adherence to industry regulations, such as HIPAA, while managing patient data within the Epic Radiant system.
Education: A bachelor's degree in computer science, healthcare IT, or a related discipline is typically required. Advanced degrees or certifications in healthcare IT, particularly in EpicCare Radiant, are preferred.
