Position Summary

The Healthcare Application Support Analyst embodies the mission, vision, and values of Northwestern Memorial Healthcare, adhering to our Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program while complying with all relevant policies and regulatory standards.

Our Information Services team is dedicated to delivering innovative and high-value solutions that transform healthcare delivery. We strive to provide exceptional service to our patients, guests, and internal stakeholders, ensuring our systems operate cohesively.

Recognizing the critical role of technology in the future of healthcare, our Information Services strategically supports the organization by:

  • Utilizing AI and automation to enhance digital transformation initiatives
  • Implementing cutting-edge technologies in both clinical and administrative domains
  • Advancing the end-user support model to improve modern infrastructure
Key Responsibilities
  • Acquire the necessary skills to support designated services and systems while understanding the integration and interaction of all supported services.
  • Oversee the production issue queue, resolving issues in alignment with our Customer Service Level Agreements.
  • Execute project tasks as directed by the IS Manager, Team Lead, or Senior IS Application Analyst, while performing routine support with guidance.
  • Uphold and enhance quality assurance standards, systems development, and delivery methodologies.
  • Contribute to the ongoing process of aligning end-user requests with software capabilities.
  • Assist in analyzing and recommending improvements related to application build and system functionality to ensure reliability.
  • Develop diagnostic skills to aid in problem identification and resolution across the assigned IS environment.
  • Participate in on-call rotation as required.
Qualifications

Required:

  • 1-2 years of experience in a relevant discipline.

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
