Overview:

  • This position focuses on improving production reliability, managing incidents, and implementing strategies to boost application performance and uptime.
  • The successful candidate will possess 5-6+ years of experience in application development or support, proficiency in contemporary technical frameworks, and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Mitigate production challenges and enhance reliability
  • Oversee incident management, changes, and issues
  • Communicate updates to stakeholders regarding incident resolution
  • Explore opportunities to increase application performance and uptime
  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert for designated applications
  • Diagnose production challenges through effective monitoring
  • Participate in systems projects and compliance initiatives
  • Collaborate with teams and Managed Services providers
  • Be available for on-call support during critical production incidents
  • Work closely with vendors and support personnel
Essential Qualifications:
  • 5-6+ years of experience in application development or support
  • Experience with multi-channel applications
  • Familiarity with Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SSDLC)
  • Experience in Agile/XP methodologies
  • Proficient in Java, Cloud Computing, GIT, Maven, Spring, Bootstrap, and more
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Experience in global support team settings
Job Prerequisites:
  • Knowledge of SSDLC and related methodologies
  • Minimum of 3 years in application development
  • Willingness to relocate
Work Schedule:
  • Daytime hours, with weekend availability as required
