Employee Relations Manager

Are you a seasoned HR professional looking for a new challenge? We have an exciting opportunity for an Employee Relations Manager to join our team at Creative Financial Staffing.

About the Role

As an Employee Relations Manager, you will be responsible for resolving employee relations issues and facilitating conflict resolution between employees and supervisors. You will investigate complaints such as harassment, discrimination, and unfair treatment, using independent judgment to conduct investigations, recommend resolutions, and prepare reports for HR Director approval.

You will also support management with employee performance issues, progressive discipline, and preparing HR/legal documentation. Additionally, you will advise managers on labor laws, wage/hour compliance, and harassment/discrimination prevention, ensuring compliance with legal requirements related to employee management and reducing legal risks.

Responsibilities
  • Resolve employee relations issues and facilitate conflict resolution between employees and supervisors.
  • Investigate complaints such as harassment, discrimination, and unfair treatment.
  • Use independent judgment in conducting investigations, recommending resolutions, and preparing reports for HR Director approval.
  • Support management with employee performance issues, progressive discipline, and preparing HR/legal documentation.
  • Advise managers on labor laws, wage/hour compliance, and harassment/discrimination prevention.
  • Ensure compliance with legal requirements related to employee management and reduce legal risks.
  • Respond to internal and external inquiries.
  • Conduct stay and exit interviews.
  • Train leaders and staff on conflict resolution and the grievance process.
  • Collaborate with outside counsel and agencies as needed.
  • Develop and manage a complaint tracking system.
  • Oversee the employee ambassador program.
Requirements
  • 5-7 years of employee relations experience.
  • HR certification.
