Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Acquisition Analyst to join our team at the Phoenix Group of Virginia. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the U.S. Navy and other government agencies in their acquisition and contract administration efforts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform acquisition analyses and develop acquisition strategies to meet customer needs.
  • Monitor vendor performance and ensure compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FARs) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplements (DFARs).
  • Develop and maintain Contract Status Reports (CSRs) and assist Contracting Officers with CLIN/SLIN data and modification details.
  • Prepare and develop Technical Advisory Reports (TARs) for Sole Source actions and assist with the development, review, and routing of DD1423 DCRLs.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in acquisition analysis, preferably in the U.S. Navy.
  • Extensive experience with highly complex, high-dollar contracts.
  • Proficiency in FARs and DFARs.
  • Familiarity with Department of Defense (DOD) Acquisition Pathways.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.
  • Experience with contract writing systems, such as Standard Procurement System (SPS).
