Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Acquisition Analyst to join our team at Phoenix Group of Virginia. As a key member of our acquisition team, you will play a crucial role in supporting our clients in the U.S. Navy, U.S. Coast Guard, NATO, and U.S. Air Force.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement acquisition strategies to meet client needs.

  • Analyze contract requirements and regulations to ensure compliance.

  • Manage contract systems and track vendor performance.

  • Prepare and develop technical advisory reports for sole source actions.

  • Develop and maintain contract status reports for contract vehicles.

Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in acquisition analysis, preferably in the US Navy.

  • Extensive experience with highly complex, high-dollar contracts.

  • Proficiency in Federal Acquisition Regulations (FARs) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFARs).

  • Familiarity with Department of Defense (DOD) Acquisition Pathways.

  • Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification (Preferred; but not required).

Working Environment

You will work in a collaborative team environment with Government, military personnel, and their support contractors at the executive, manager, and technical levels.

This is a non-supervisory position that requires the ability to work with little or no direct supervision.
