Job Title: Subject Matter Expert - Navy Procure-to-Pay

We are seeking a seasoned professional with extensive experience in Navy procurement processes and systems to drive efficiency and innovation within Navy contracting operations.

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of hands-on experience in navigating the intricacies of Navy procurement processes and possess in-depth knowledge of the Department of the Navy's (DON) business processes, solutions, and systems landscape.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide guidance and expertise on best practices within the Navy's Procure-to-Pay contracting environment.
  • Work closely with the Electronic Procurement System (ePS) program team to help develop the DON's enterprise contracting capability.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze, evaluate, and improve existing procurement processes and systems.
  • Stay abreast of developments and changes within the DON's procurement landscape, including updates to IAE systems and PIEE environments.
  • Act as a liaison between our organization and relevant Navy stakeholders, fostering positive relationships and facilitating effective communication.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • 10+ years of direct experience working within the Navy's Procure-to-Pay (P2P) contracting environment.
  • Deep understanding of DON's business processes, solutions, and systems.
  • Familiarity with Integrated Awards Environment (IAE) systems and Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE) environments.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and solve complex problems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proven track record of delivering results in a remote work environment.
