We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Patient Service Representative I to join our team at Northern Light Health. As a key member of our Cancer Care team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet and check in patients, verifying and updating insurance information and confirming other patient details
  • Schedule patient appointments, answer phones, and update demographic information
  • Process referrals, payment collection and posting, charge reconciliation, and chart preparation
  • Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and hospital staff to ensure seamless care
  • Use independent judgment to resolve issues and provide solutions
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or General Educational Development (GED) required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and excellent communication skills
  • Proficiency in practice software and registration tools
  • Ability to prioritize and perform multiple duties simultaneously
Working Conditions

This role requires prolonged periods of sitting, standing, and walking, as well as potential exposure to abusive and/or aggressive individuals.
