Job Title: Technical Support Specialist

At Danfoss, we are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team. As a Technical Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our customers, ensuring that they receive the best possible service and solutions to their technical issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support to customers via email, phone, and TeamViewer
  • Diagnose and repair Turbocor compressors and other HVAC equipment
  • Collaborate with OEMs and other stakeholders to resolve technical issues
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including service manuals and spare parts manuals
  • Provide internal technical support to Danfoss teams, including Commercial Sales, Production, and Software
Requirements:
  • 8-10 years of commercial HVAC experience in servicing, commissioning, and maintaining chiller sets in central plant air conditioning systems
  • EPA 608 Universal Refrigerant Certification
  • Strong understanding and knowledge of vapor compression cycle and principles and the use of centrifugal compressors within chiller systems
  • Fundamental knowledge of Modbus control system and applications using Modbus control
  • Ability to read and work with simple electrical schematic wiring diagrams
Preferred Qualifications:
  • HVAC Certification from an accredited Technical Trade School
  • Ability to speak effectively before a group of people
  • Valid passport for international travel
