Accounting Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Manager, Accounting to lead our accounting team and drive financial excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and scalability across the accounting function.
  • Design and implement internal controls to ensure compliance with US GAAP and SOX regulations.
  • Lead the implementation of new accounting systems and software to enhance automation and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to provide financial analysis and insights.
  • Support the annual audit and tax compliance process.
  • Govern the chart of accounts and ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Provide oversight and instruction on foreign currency transactions and ensure proper recognition in both functional and reporting sets of books.
  • Collaborate with IT on matters impacting the general ledger and control environment.
  • Support the SEC reporting process to drive continuous improvement in the quality and timeliness of external reporting.
  • Manage a high-performing team focused on the monthly/quarterly close process, account reconciliation, and financial statement compilation.
  • Support the Company's strategic initiatives by establishing the proper general ledger structure and controls.
  • Train and develop current and future employees to enhance their professional development.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 10+ years of relevant experience, including 5+ years of team management experience.
  • Extensive knowledge of consolidation accounting and general ledger systems.
  • Expertise in U.S. GAAP, including ASC 830 – Foreign Currency Matters.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to apply accounting theory to accounting practice and work effectively in a culturally diverse group.
