The Position:

As a vital member of our Finance Transformation team, you will report directly to the Finance Transformation Lead. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with team members and stakeholders to assess, evaluate, and implement financial processes and systems. You will work closely with various departments and senior management to facilitate finance transformation initiatives across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate existing processes, procedures, and controls to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Work with stakeholders to streamline operations, eliminate redundancies, and enhance efficiency.
  • Conduct workshops and meetings to ensure alignment among stakeholders regarding project objectives.
  • Oversee finance transformation projects, providing updates on progress, risks, and mitigation strategies.
  • Engage in technology assessments, migrations, data transfers, and system implementations.
  • Develop and execute change management strategies for new processes and systems.
  • Create detailed finance integration plans for newly acquired entities.
  • Manage finance integration tasks, including process alignment, technology migration, and training.
  • Contribute to special projects as needed.
  • Exhibit strong leadership and decision-making capabilities.
  • Promote a culture focused on safety and well-being.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting with CPA certification required.
  • A minimum of five years of accounting experience, ideally in public accounting.
  • Experience in utility operations and knowledge of utility accounting and reporting.
  • Expertise in process enhancement, automation, system implementations, and US GAAP.
  • Familiarity with SAP or other ERP systems.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on overall objectives.
  • Able to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • High ethical standards aligned with the organization's values.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate across functions and teams.
