The Role

The Federal Sales Director is responsible for leading a team of account executives in generating revenue from federal prospects and customers.

This role requires strategic thinking, leadership skills, and a proven track record in sales management. The ideal candidate will have experience managing a team of 8-10 sales professionals, coaching them to achieve high levels of performance and exceeding quarterly quota targets.

  • Foster a culture of excellence within the sales team, ensuring they are equipped to navigate complex sales cycles and drive revenue growth.
  • Develop and execute strategies to identify new business opportunities, expand existing customer relationships, and meet or exceed quarterly revenue targets.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver tailored solutions that meet the needs of federal customers, resulting in long-term partnerships and increased revenue streams.

In this role, you will be expected to stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies, applying this knowledge to inform your sales strategy and drive business growth.


About You
  • You are a seasoned sales leader with a passion for public sector success and a deep understanding of the drivers of client needs.
  • You possess exceptional communication and presentation skills, both written and oral, allowing you to effectively articulate the value proposition of our solutions to federal customers.
  • Your consultative approach enables you to position our services and technology as solutions to clients' business challenges, resulting in significant revenue growth and customer satisfaction.
  • You have a proven track record of C-Level sales activity, demonstrating your ability to build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers at federal agencies.
  • You are an innovator, always seeking new ways to improve sales processes, increase efficiency, and drive revenue growth.

Compensation Package

We offer a competitive compensation package, including a base salary of $175,000 - $195,000 per year, plus commission and benefits. This total reward reflects our commitment to attracting and retaining top talent in the sales industry.
