Senior Director of Regional Sales and Revenue Strategy

This Senior Director role is an exciting opportunity to lead a prominent cluster of hotels in the DC Area. As a commercial powerhouse, you will drive excellence in revenue performance, overseeing sales teams and implementing strategic plans to improve revenue and profitability.
Job DescriptionAs the Senior Director of Regional Sales and Revenue Strategy, you will be responsible for:
- Interviewing, selecting, training, scheduling, coaching, and supporting associates to ensure they meet established brand or hotel standards and align with HHM's core values.
- Collaborating with property-level sales and revenue teams to review short-term and long-term revenue forecasts, identify areas of opportunity, and develop strategies to enhance revenue and profitability.
- Leveraging local sales expertise to drive business bookings into assigned hotels.
- Assisting hotels in meeting or exceeding assigned revenue goals, primarily focusing on Rooms, F&B, Meeting Room Rental, and RevPAR Index.
- In conjunction with hotel staff, developing sales plans, special activities, and promotions while monitoring their return on investment.
- Overseeing on-property sales production and performance measurement in close collaboration with General Managers.
- Creating and managing annual sales and marketing plans and budget expense management (area and on-property).
- Ensuring the proper execution and implementation of all Hersha standards, tools, and systems.
- Representing the properties and HHM in a positive light as an owner liaison.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree; additional coursework in business administration, marketing, and communications is advantageous.
- Previous experience overseeing sales for multiple properties with operations experience preferred.
- Public relations and community marketing experience required.
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, Delphi, and access database tools.
