Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Strategic Business Growth Director to join our commercial leadership team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for driving business growth and development through strategic planning, team management, and individual sales contribution.
Responsibilities- Operational Leadership (40%)
- Lead and manage a high-performing team of consulting sales professionals, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
- Manage and coordinate offshore teams responsible for sales campaign design and execution, lead distribution, and management.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and ensure sales targets are met or exceeded.
- Prepare and present regular sales reports and forecasts to senior management.
- Personal Sales Contribution (50%):
- Contribute individually to sales efforts by developing relationships, building pipelines, and converting sales at targeted accounts.
- Strategic Leadership (10%)
- Participate as an integral member of the commercial leadership team, contributing to strategic direction and decision-making processes.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve organizational sales targets and drive business growth.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and Regional Industry and Service Leaders.
- Establish and implement long-term strategies for your area of responsibility, with direct impact on organizational results.
- Communicate effectively with parties within and outside your job function, including clients and partners.
- Negotiate on matters of strategic importance with internal and external parties.
- Provide guidance and leadership to implement transformational change within ERM or a client organization.
- Ensure appropriate selection and organization of talent for your area of responsibility.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in sales management within the consulting industry.
- Proven track record of success in building and leading high-performing sales teams.
- Deep experience in business development best practices, methodologies, and matrixed operating models.
- Strong individual sales skills, including relationship development, pipeline building, and sales conversion.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional global teams and manage multiple priorities.
- Experience managing offshore teams is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Salesforce and Microsoft Office Suite.
The salary range for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
